學校簡介
北京工業(yè)大學創(chuàng)建于1960年，是一所以工為主，工、理、經(jīng)、管、文、法、藝術、教育相結合的多科性市屬重點大學。1981年成為國家教育部批準的第一批碩士學位授予單位，1985年成為博士學位授予單位，1996年通過國家“211工程”預審，正式跨入國家二十一世紀重點建設的百所大學的行列。2017年9月，學校正式進入國家一流學科建設高校行列。在2020年QS世界大學排行榜中，學校位居中國內地第32名。

構建高水平、多層次的一流學科建設體系
學校圍繞“北京技術創(chuàng)新行動計劃”等經(jīng)濟社會發(fā)展重大需求，根據(jù)自身特色優(yōu)勢，重點布局“現(xiàn)代城市建設與環(huán)境工程”一流學科群，直接推動核心學科、帶動支撐學科和輻射學校其他主體學科，促進學校學科建設水平的跨越式發(fā)展。通過學科交叉融合以及基礎學科、藝術、教育、經(jīng)管等人文社科類學科的深度協(xié)同，形成了“一流工科、優(yōu)勢理科、特色文管、精品藝術”的學科建設新格局。

The Univerisity at a Glance
Founded in 1960, Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) is a municipal multidisciplinary key university providing programs in science, engineering, economics, management, literature, law, art and education, with engineering as its core focus. In 1981, BJUT was approved by the Ministry of Education as one of the first to confer master’s degrees in China. In 1985, BJUT was approved to confer doctoral degrees. In 1996, BJUT was listed into China’s “211 Project” and officially joined the rank of the country’s Top 100 key universities in the 21st century. In September 2017, BJUT was listed into China’s “World-class Discipline Construction Plan”. In 2020, BJUT ranked 32 in the QS China's Mainland University Rankings.
Over the 60 years since its founding, guided by the reform and development of China and the capital city, and in the principle of building a world-class university with characteristics of China and Beijing, BJUT has been committed to the mission of training top-notch high-quality innovative talents for the capital city while gradually building itself into a high-level research university with a global reputation and its own characteristics. Creating a High-level and Multi-tiered Discipline Structure with Distinctive Features and Cross Collaboration
Guided by the major demands of Beijing’s economic and social development, and in light of its own characteristics and advantages, BJUT pursues the leapfrog development of its disciplines by placing a great emphasis on its world-class disciplinary cluster of Modern Urban Construction and Environmental Engineering, while strengthening painstakingly its core disciplines and supporting disciplines. Through the cross-disciplinary integration and collaboration, BJUT creates a new discipline layout featuring top engineering disciplines, preponderant science disciplines, distinctive humanities and management disciplines, and exquisite art disciplines.

You need to provide: Full CV (including basic information, date of birth, education, research and work experience, catalog of papers published in recent five years, information of research projects undertaken in recent five years, academic awards and personal honors, contact information, etc.); full text of your academic representative work; and other supporting materials, etc.
Application procedure: Please name your CV in the format of “name-talent category-faculty (college)/discipline”, and email it to the faculty (college) with a copy to the High-level Talent Office (gdrc@bjut.edu.cn). After receiving the application credentials, the faculty (college) will conduct preliminary screening and then recommend the eligible applicants to the High-level Talent Office for qualification check. You may contact the faculty (college) for inquiries about the application progress.
