OVERVIEW:Working as a Full-Time AS, you will be responsible for all aspects of the branch business. Support responsibilities may include purchasing, receiving, packing orders, deliveries, sourcing and inventory management as needed to assure success of the branch business. RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Monitoring and analyzing customers’ business performanceo Working with purchasing, operation team and other related department to deal with trouble cases and new requirements from customer o Establishing and building up customer relationship through execution of customer plano Create and negotiate the Pricing recommend and negotiation strategies for current customero Taking ownership and responsibilities for the accounts under the managing & monitoring of the Branch manager (turnover and pre-tax profit)o Represent Fastenal as brand ambassador of the Companyo Customer retention by maintaining new and existing businesso Maintaining & growing the existing business, and prospect the new business opportunitieso Creating and presenting professional proposals to current and new customerso Collecting market intelligence and share feedback to BM/ DMo Other assignments issued by BM / DMREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:o A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirementso Good written and oral communication skillso Possess strong computer skills and math aptitudeo Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to motivate otherso Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilitieso Possess strong attention to detail and sense of urgencyo Exhibit strong problem solving and deductive reasoning skillso Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic team environmento Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworko Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbso Bilingual in both Chinese and EnglishPREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:o At least one year of Fastenal or related sales experienceo A degree in Business/Marketing/Mechanical OR have equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local marketo Product knowledge is a plusABOUT US:Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to approximately 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
